We are ASUV — Salvadoreans United in Virginia. We work to directly impact the communities that need the most support, through emergency, education, and development programs.
When a family loses their home to a storm, ASUV is already there. We are Salvadorans in Virginia who have not forgotten where we come from. Every program we launch, every dollar we raise, reaches those who need it most — no middlemen, no bureaucracy.
Facing the devastation caused by Tropical Storm Alberto in the La Paz department of El Salvador, ASUV raised $20,700 and delivered hygiene and cleaning kits to more than 300 affected families. An ASUV delegation personally delivered the aid, with support from El Salvador's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Governance.

We respond immediately to natural disasters and humanitarian crises in El Salvador. We coordinate with local authorities and the Salvadoran government to ensure aid reaches those affected as quickly as possible. Example: We raised $20,700 for 300+ families affected by Tropical Storm Alberto.
